Basketball has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, it was more than just a sport—it was a way of life. I’ve spent countless hours on the court, practicing, playing, and immersing myself in the game. Though I wasn’t gifted with the height often associated with basketball greatness, my love for the sport only deepened. While I’ve always admired the players who bring excitement and skill to the court, I found my own unique way to contribute to the sport. Recognizing that I might not be the one dunking or towering over opponents, I decided to pursue another important role: officiating. For the past five years, I’ve been a referee, a position that has given me a completely new perspective on the game. It’s a challenging yet rewarding role, one that requires sharp decision-making, fairness, and a deep understanding of basketball. Being a referee has allowed me to stay connected to the sport I love while contributing to its integrity. It’s also given me the opportunity to build relationships within the basketball community and witness firsthand the passion, teamwork, and dedication that make the game so special. Today, I’m proud to continue working with the league I helped build, fostering a supportive environment where basketball thrives. Whether it’s coordinating games, mentoring young players, or making tough calls as a referee, I’m honored to play my part in keeping the spirit of basketball alive. Basketball is more than a game to me—it’s a lifelong passion, a source of inspiration, and a way to bring people together. I’m grateful for the journey it’s taken me on so far and excited for what lies ahead. See you on the court!
